Return to PluginFMQLRT.
- FileMaker 13 was not designed for Windows 10. FileMaker 14 does not fully support Windows 10 at the time it was released.
- FileMaker 14 on Mac has an option to output either 32-bit or 64-bit solutions. Since the Mac plugin from Excel Software is Universal (includes both 32-bit and 64-bit software) it will likely work with either option. It also supports earlier versions of FileMaker.
- FileMaker 14 on Windows includes separate 32-bit and 64-bit installers. Since our Windows FM plugin is 32-bit (as are most FM plugins), you must install the 32-bit version of FM. The runtime solution will then run on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows computers. You will likely need a future update from FileMaker to be fully compatible with Windows 10.
- In the future, Excel Software may produce a 64-bit FileMaker plugin for use with the 64-bit version of FileMaker 14. Any solutions you produce with that environment would only run on 64-bit Windows computers and may not support older versions of Windows.
